Unique August Holidays to Celebrate with Kids

The start of another new month. One reason this is great for me is that I can gather new ideas to plan fun activities for kids. I like to investigate unique holidays because they give you an excuse to talk about certain topics, eat new recipes, or just be silly. I’ve gather unique national holidays, weekly observances, and monthly observances to help you plan activities and lessons to pass the time with the kids.

Keep in mind that I haven’t listed every unique holiday or observance here, this is just a selected list. You’re always free to research more or include observances unique to your family or background!
